Long Distance Runner 3ds max, Photoshop January 2008
I think that I started modelling this satellite in the year 2005 but it just ended up on my work in process -list. In December 2007 I got the inspiration back and finished the model. The satellite contains around 900 parts. Because I wanted to present it in backlight with all those three large sunpanels I had lots of problems with lightning.
Whole scene was modelled and rendered in 3ds max (Vray). Textures, background, color correction and some small adjusts in lights were done in Photoshop. This is my vision of near future, long distance satellite. Hope you like!
